Formerly a machine manufacturing shop run by the Wallace family and operating from 1950 until 2015, the buildings are being redesigned and re-purposed to create bright, large commercial spaces for art studios, light manufacturing and craft industries. In honour of the buildings history, we have incorporated original sprockets, gears, wood beams and mobile cranes into the design.
Located in the colourful and vibrant Commercial Drive neighbourhood also known as Vancouver's Little Italy, this area has evolved to become Vancouver's bohemian culture pot. The Drive is a highly popular destination known for its' family oriented residential neighborhoods and community focused business including organic food merchants, unique boutiques, colorful coffee culture, fresh gelato and European Delis.
